Does the Aston Martin DB9 Volante or the Maserati GranTourismo succeed in an automatic transmission or manual only? The Volante just means it's the exchangeable.

The Aston Martin DB9 Volante does not have an knee-jerk transmisison. It is available only with a traditional six-speed stick or an automanual with steering pillar-mounted paddle shifters. The Maserati GranTurismo has a traditional robot-like, with steering column-mounted paddle shifters, as well as a six-speed stay. And yes, Volante is Aston Martin's designation for a convertible.
